With a majestic view of the sea, seen through the walls of glass windows all around the hotel, overlooking and facing Manila Bay. It had nice huge spaces everywhere, and balconies where one can sit and relax.
Entering the Conrad Hotel Manila from the walkway connecting it to the mall ( SM Mall Of Asia) was a first for me. I have never been to a hotel that is connected to such a really large mall beside it. And to top that, the Conrad even has it’s own smaller mall (S. Maison) with more luxurious stores and restaurants compared to those in MOA. Here in S. Maison, there is a Director’s Club Movie theater where you can enjoy watching your movie on fully automatic LazyBoy chairs and unlimited popcorn.
As I pass thru the function room area, I take notice right away of the elegant & somewhat minimalist styled interior design. It seems to still be quiet in this particular location for now, since they have just recently opened, and are still in those “soft opening” stages.
Walking past the enormous hallway with impressive chandeliers and carpets, all of a sudden, silly me finds herself lost trying to get to the front desk. I did not wander long because the staff were welcoming and helpful to point me in the right direction.
I was slightly disappointed when the front desk officer informed me that they currently did not have brochures ready for clients at the moment. But I guess print media takes a backseat in the internet age, they most probably figured that anybody could find better pictures and info on the web rather than any brochure could offer.
I forgot all about my slight setback once I went into the outside centerpiece of the Conrad. It boasts of a beautiful infinity pool, with an elegant bar right beside this Sun lover’s heaven. The Pool & Bar is surrounded comfortably by plenty of pool chairs to help you bask in the sun to get a tan, or simply a place to put up your feet and chill by the pool.
After enjoying a little sun and taking my glorious selfies, I head back inside to explore the dining options that each had their own nooks or observation decks to admire Manila Bay and the breathtaking sunset.
And for the lounge lizards out there, I also noticed the lounge area which was huge and very comfortable.Restrooms throughout the hotel were of course, impeccable and clean.
I can’t lie, this place is absolutely perfect to enjoy the stunning sunset! And a beautiful area to eat dinner or have a few drinks and meaningful conversations with your friends or loved ones as you watch the sunset. What more could you ask! Walking distance to 2 malls and the city. I will definitely revisit, and definitely book a room next time to also experience the sunrise.
